As a basic subject,Chinese possesses strong emotion.Chinese carries the essence of thousands of years of China's traditional civilization and has rich humanistic connotation.Every article in Chinese teaching materials is carefully selected,which is the treasure of human classical culture.These classic works not only carry the soul of Chinese nation but also contain the rich life education resources,and they profoundly affect the Chinese people's outlook on life,value and world view.Therefore,Chinese teaching and life teaching are in the same strain.This paper tries to explore life education in Chinese teaching from the following four parts.In the first part,through many teenagers' suicide and homicide cases,the author founds out that the events of senior high school students ignoring life is endless.From this finding,it can be concluded that life education is imminent,and then based on the life education research at home and abroad the author explains the connotation of life education and expounds the significance of researching on life education.In the second part,the author analyzes the characteristics of senior high school students' physiological and psychological development,and then analyzes the specific characteristics of students in this stage,followed by the analysis of specific characteristics of life education for senior high school students.At last,the author explains the relationship between Chinese teaching and life education: Chinese teaching is an important subject to carry out life education,while life education can help Chinese teaching return to essence.In the third part the author expounds the present status of life education in Chinese teaching: divorce of theory and practice,it's difficult to penetrate life education in Chinese classroom and the Chinese teaching is divorced from the reality of life,ignoring the life development of human and petrifaction of teaching process,ignoring the situation setting and fixed model for text interpretation,ignoring students' personality and so on,and finally elaborates the ways to carry out life education in Chinese teaching from such aspects as teaching material analysis,Chinese classroom penetration,composition instruction,extracurricular Chinese practical activities and other ways.In the fourth part theauthor mainly analyzes several problems which are worth to note during implementing life education: teachers should possess the quality to penetrate life education,Chinese teachers should deal with the relationship between Chinese teaching and life education well,expressing the idea of respecting students' personality and promoting diversified understanding in the process of life education.Only grasping these problems can life education be carried out better.The fifth part mainly talks about how to carry out life education by text and analyzing the implement of life education by classroom cases.Through the research on life education in senior high school Chinese teaching,this paper can attract more educational scholars to pay attention to life education and practice it,so that education can return to its true shape.
