Nowadays,the quality environment of APP for primary school science education in our country is highly chaotic and disorderly,the product development and operation lack of orderly supervision,a large number of low-level,homogeneous products flow into the market,parents and children also have great randomness and blindness in the choice and use of APP.The existing APP for primary school science education cannot meet the existing and potential learning needs of users,and it is difficult to achieve good science education and dissemination effect.The quality of such APP needs to be improved urgently.However,there is a lack of in-depth research on the evaluation of APP for primary school science education,and no complete quality evaluation criteria and methods have yet been formed.Therefore,this paper constructs a systematic and scientific evaluation index system of APP for primary science education,which is conducive to enriching the relevant research results of APP evaluation for education in China,promoting the standardized management the APP market for primary science education in China,and providing guidance strategies for instructors and learners to screen and use APP for primary science education.Help to improve the quality of such APP development and operation,and improve the user's learning and use experience.In order to realize the above research significance and value,the principal research task and the outcomes are as follows:Firstly,based on literature research and reflections on related concepts,this paper constructs an evaluation system model of APP for primary school science education.The core dimensions of the evaluation system are defined as Pedagogy,Content,Technology and Art.The four dimensions are interrelated and mutually integrated to form an organic whole,which makes the attention of APP evaluation transfers from "technicality" to the overall construction quality of APP.Secondly,based on the guidance of the evaluation system model and theoretical basis,combined with the characteristics of APP for primary school science education,four first-level indicators of the evaluation index system are preliminarily designed and designated as teaching design,content organization,functional services and interactive experience,as well as 31 second-level indicators of subordinates and their corresponding description of evaluation criteria.Applying Delphi method to evaluate,revise and test the initial evaluation index system.A complete evaluation index system in App for primary school science education,including 4 first-level indicators and 33 second-level indicators,is finally constructed.Then the weight of evaluation index system is determined by analytic hierarchy process.Thirdly,an application example is given by using the evaluation index system in App for primary school science education.Design the evaluation scheme to make a comprehensive evaluation of the construction quality of the natural science section of Kaolayoujiao.According to the standard process of investigation and research,design the questionnaire and scheme,implement the survey,collect the survey data,test the reliability and validity,and carry out the statistical analysis of the survey results according to the scoring criteria.The result shows that the quality evaluation score of the sample APP is 3.84(5 points),which shows that the APP is perfect,has a good quality,and can basically meet the needs of users.The advantages and disadvantages of APP are summarized,and the pertinent improvement suggestions for this APP are put forward.Fourthly,based on the systematic analysis of the life cycle and market operation principle of educational APP,a multi-dimensional objects quality model of educational APP is constructed,focusing on the quality elements in the context of educational APP quality environment from the perspective of various groups involved in the production,delivery and use of products,such as availability,maintainability and ease of use.Based on this model,the paper puts forward some suggestions for the developers,providers and learners of APP for primary science education to optimize the development strategy of APP,in order to promote the healthy development of the whole primary science education APP quality construction ecology.
