In recent years,with the deepening of the new curriculum reform in China,the adaptation of teaching materials is imperative.As a front-line teacher,the author knows that good textbooks will bring great benefits to students.Aiming at serving the adaptation of Chinese junior middle school physics textbooks,this paper uses the methods of literature research,content analysis and comparative research to analyze and study the Egyptian junior middle school physics textbook EL moasser in science,which has not been studied by scholars at present.It makes a comprehensive analysis of the overall structure,subject knowledge points,experimental arrangement,expanding materials,difficulty of knowledge points,illustrations and exercises,and selects them.Three typical chapters in Egyptian textbooks are analyzed in depth,such as force and motion,current circuit and light.We try to find some experience strategies that we can use for reference,and provide reference for the adaptation of junior middle school physics textbooks in our country.The research shows that Egyptian textbooks focus on the application of knowledge,the advancement of textbooks is closely related to modern science and technology,and the cultivation of students'scientific literacy,which is based on the overall development of students.From the overall analysis of Egyptian textbooks,the main features are:knowledge points cover a wide range,the difficulty spiral up;knowledge points focus on learning and application;experiments,exercises,illustrations are diverse and numerous;experiments focus on exploratory.It can be found that the learning content of Egyptian textbooks is close to life,paying attention to the combination of modern science and technology,and the compilation of textbooks reflects humanistic concern.This paper makes a thorough analysis from three special chapters of force and movement,current circuit and light,and compares them with the textbooks published by the People's Education Press in China.It summarizes the respective characteristics of the two versions of junior middle school physics textbooks,and tries to put forward some places for reference,such as Egyptian textbooks with abundant types and large numbers of exercises,from shallow to deep difficulties,and in the exercises,we also pay attention to linking the knowledge we have learned with our real life.Based on this,the author puts forward the following suggestions for the improvement of textbooks in China:1.Adequately increase the number of knowledge points that students come into contact with in society,so that the knowledge points learned can be put into practice.2.Increase some physical knowledge related to daily life and content introduction related to the progress of contemporary science and technology in order to expand students'knowledge and cultivate students' practical application ability.3.Expanding and deepening junior middle school physics knowledge points appropriately.Putting part of senior high school physics into junior high school only requires students to have a simple understanding,so that students can be exposed to a comprehensive physics world in junior high school,and avoid the high school to build a new physics knowledge framework again.4.Difficult knowledge points can be separated and learned.Difficult knowledge points are divided into two or more parts,which belong to different semesters.This is more in line with the law of students'intellectual development and psychological growth.
