STS education is a new concept of science education reform.Its core idea is to cultivate students' scientific literacy and technical accomplishment,so that students can correctly deal with scientific,technical and social problems from the perspective of society,and cultivate students to propose,analyze and solve problems based on this.Ability and creativity.Infiltrating STS education in high school geography teaching,teachers can combine the relationship between geography and geography science and technology in social production and life by expounding the relationship between science,technology and society,aiming at developing students' innovative spirit and practical ability.Students are taught to look at social issues with a developmental and connected perspective and to develop students' good cultural literacy.Therefore,there is a strong need for STS education in high school geography teaching.However,as far as the current research is concerned,there are too few articles combining STS education with high school geography teaching.Front line teachers are not familiar with STS education.The survey results based on this are not optimistic.This study aims to infiltrate STS education in high school geography teaching design,write corresponding cases and analyze them,and provide reference for front line teachers.This paper mainly uses literature analysis method and questionnaire survey method.The basic work in the early stage is mainly as follows: Firstly,using literature analysis method to understand STS education related concepts,have a preliminary understanding of STS education,and then research on STS education.The progress is sorted out and summed up to find the entry point of the combination of geography and STS education.Finally,through the analysis of the connection between the curriculum standard,teaching materials and the true questions of the past and STS education,it provides the support point and practice for the penetration of STS education in high school geography teaching.basis.In order to investigate the infiltration status of STS education in high school geography teaching design,this study designed two questionnaires for students and teachers respectively,and conducted student surveys for high school students in two schools in Yantai City and Jining City.In the survey results,most students reflect that STS education is rarely involved in geography teaching.Classroom teaching is mainlybased on the transfer of knowledge.There are almost no practical activities,and there are few opportunities for students to practice.It can be seen that the penetration of STS education in geography teaching is not enough.At the same time,the teacher said in the survey that it is necessary to carry out STS education in geography,but it is rare in practice.The main reason is that it is limited by traditional evaluation methods and teachers' own level.Finally,based on the characteristics of geography and the characteristics of STS education,the author puts forward the principles,implementation methods and implementation methods of high school geography teaching design based on STS education,and uses the principles and approaches of teaching design summarized from classroom teaching and social practice.Two kinds of geography courses are designed to teach teaching cases,and each teaching case is analyzed in detail with the characteristics of STS education,which is convenient for front line teachers to provide case references when writing lesson plans.
