With the deepening of the new curriculum reform and the comprehensive promotion of quality education,the interdisciplinary comprehensive practical activity curriculum,which focuses on the cultivation of students' comprehensive quality and ability,has been attached great importance by the education administrative departments at all levels.However,as a new curriculum under the background of the new curriculum reform,with the further implementation,a series of problems also follow,mainly as follows: Teachers' understanding of the curriculum is one-sided,curriculum objectives are too broad,curriculum content is de knowledgeable,curriculum resources are scarce,teachers are weak and so on.Stem education emphasizes that scientific knowledge does not exist in isolation,but complements each other in various disciplines.Stem education through a series of interesting projects,integrates the knowledge of various disciplines,and promotes the improvement of students' comprehensive ability in the form of projects.Therefore,stem education,which emphasizes the integration of multi-disciplinary knowledge,plays an important role in improving the adaptability and innovation practice ability of teenagers.In 2017,the Ministry of Education promulgated the guidance outline for comprehensive practical activities curriculum in primary and secondary schools(hereinafter referred to as the outline).After reading the outline,we found that the nature of the curriculum,curriculum philosophy and activity methods(especially the "design and production")of the comprehensive practical activities curriculum have drawn stem education philosophy.This study selects "design and production" as the main activity mode of comprehensive practical activity curriculum in the school.On the basis of drawing lessons from the more mature stem education mode,it constructs the teaching project design process of primary school comprehensive practical activity curriculum based on stem.Based on the process,it combines interest and value,authenticity and openness,practicality and creativity Under the guidance of such principles,we should develop a series of teaching projects and carry out teaching practice research in the school.The main contents and achievements are as follows:First,through the literature analysis,the paper combs the current situation,problems and the latest achievements of the comprehensive practical activity curriculum in various regions,and clarifies the research theme.Secondly,based on the analysis of the objectives,contents and activities of the comprehensive practical activity curriculum,the paper compares stem curriculum with the comprehensive practical activity curriculum from five dimensions,and concludes that it is feasible to integrate the stem concept into the comprehensive practical activity curriculum.Thirdly,based on the mature stem education mode at the present stage,and taking "design and production" as the main activity mode,this paper constructs the teaching project design process of primary school comprehensive practical activity course based on stem,which includes four stages: project preparation,project design,project implementation and project evaluation.Fourth,under the guidance of the process,combined with the analysis of the learning situation of senior students in s Primary School of Taicang science and education new town,eight stem based "design and production" comprehensive teaching projects were jointly developed with the research group of science and innovation education,and teaching practice was carried out in S primary school of Taicang science and education new town.Finally,through the data collection and analysis,the preliminary conclusion is that the stem based "design and production" comprehensive teaching project can promote students' knowledge mastery,improve students' problem-solving ability,hands-on ability,cooperation ability and creative thinking ability;through the semi-structured interviews with the subjects,we can deeply understand the students' understanding of "design and production" The students' learning attitude and positive psychological quality have changed significantly after the comprehensive teaching project.Then,it preliminarily verifies that the stem based teaching project design process of primary school comprehensive practical activity course is feasible and effective.
