Research On Service Experience In School Social Work Involved In "Trouble-maker Students"

With the development of China's economy and the Internet,juvenile delinquency has drawn more and more attention,triggering off heated discussion in the society and becoming an unavoidable issue in the current development of China.The author of this paper believes that the efforts should be paid to prevent “trouble-maker teenagers” for the prevention of juvenile delinquency and prevent them from approaching the edge of crime.Most of these “trouble-maker teenagers” are students.Schools should help them to kill “problems”,which is the best way for them to adapt to social development.School social work can precisely help.In this study,the method of qualitative research is adopted,with the 30 “trouble-maker students”from 10 schools of Chaoyang District involved in the “Schools Help Trouble-maker Students”campaign as the research object.The project is described from the project background,service target and service team,service process,and service effectiveness to explore the opportunity and service process of the school social work involved in helping “trouble-maker students”.The service experience is reflected and summarized from the aspects of supervision,administration and service,and the feasible suggestions for the development of school social work in the Mainland are put forth.The effective experiences gained from the project are as follows: 1.Supervision:The supervision plays a particularly important role in the project.The authoritative supervision can change the indifference of schools before the project is settled down and make the service forms diversified and more professional;2.Administration:(1)The service should be recorded.(2)News information should be submitted in a timely manner,and the public relations relationship between the project issuer,school and family should be handled to provide a good living environment for the project to achieve its goals.(3)The project funds should be used fairly and openly,and the subsidies for social workers should be raised as much as possible.3.Service:(1)A multi-party service relationship among the project issuer,school,service target and family should be established.(2)The choice in the form of service must be prepared with menu-style mandatory options and multiple options.(3)Efforts should be tried to avoid security risks and prepare plans.(4)In terms of effectiveness evaluation,contract requirements and customers' satisfaction should be taken into consideration.In view of the excessive manpower investment into the project,the weak link of administrative resources and the short service period,the author,based on relevant literature and personal practical experience,puts forward suggestions on developing school social work as follows: 1.Industry associations:(1)Raising special funds for the exchanges between the mainland and Hong Kong school social workers.(2)In the context of student safety and the national concern about education,it is recommended that the Ministry of Education purchase social work services for compulsory education schools;2.Social work organizations should plan ahead,increment capital investment,and try to conduct school social service with the organization's current resources to develop social workers so that they can prepare themselves for the future;3.Following the stipulations of law and social work values,social workers should break through the shackles of traditional ideas,use the Internet to carry out diversified school social work services,and learn to establish self-worth brands to response to future risks.
