The Study On Operation Of The Social Work Institution From The Perspective Of Social Work Administration

With the constantly advancing and deepening of China’s social construction, more and more civil power appear and involve in the tide of social construction, the social organizations ushered in a period of rapid development. In recent years, among the organizations growth in this environment, which provide professional social work services have gradually become the focus of public attention, and academic world also pay more attention to them. Social organizations not only development rapidly, but also reveal a significant advantage in undertaking government functions transfer. Under the central and local level’s policy guidelines and promotion, social service organizations have begun to usher golden period of development in Nanjing. They provide professional social work services, at the same time, participate in and influence the introduction and implementation of the relevant social policy, and have become an important civil power contemporary process of social management transformation.This research selects a private social work institute which good development, has a broader impact and representativeness among numerous institutions in Nanjing as a sample. Under the guidance of social work administration perspective, use of field research methods mainly, researcher took part in the institute to investigate and survey. Through the inductive analysis on collected materials, on one hand decompose the operation of institutions at micro-level, on the other hand, at the macro level, discuss on how the institute involved in the formulation and implementation of relevant social policy. By combining social work administration theory to analyze and argue the functioning of institutions, put forward some views on the promotion of institutional development, including improving and speeding up the process of headquarters building to further improve institution service efficiency, and further development the ability of research is also an important part. What’s more, according to the local situation of the policy, put forward some policy recommendations on social work institution environment, including expanding government-purchased services scale, optimizing the standard of invite bids for public welfare projects.The use of perspective of social work administration is the most obvious characteristics of this thesis. Analysing the social work institution at macro and micro levels which contained in perspective of social work, can decompose the institution operation into two parts, one is the internal administrative mechanism, the other is interaction mechanism, the two part above is the social work institution operation process from the perspective of social administration. This thesis aims to study the social work institution administrative ability, which is one of three social work abilities, the others are professional service ability and management ability. The research is tend to exploring the role of administrative ability to enhance the comprehensive strength of the professional institutions, besides, enrich the research findings and the research results have something pragmatic and extension.
