With the acceleration of the globalization process,the exchanges between people of all countries have become more and more close,and the number of people going abroad to teach is increasing year by year.In recent years,although the number of foreign teachers in many universities in the province of Lang Son is increasing,the problem of imperfect policies in teacher management has greatly reduced the enthusiasm of foreign language teachers.At present,the research on the management mechanism of foreign teachers at home and abroad mainly focuses on incentives for rewards and punishments.Rewards and punishments means to satisfy the needs of the managers by rewarding good things and punishing bad things,motivating them to actively and dare to do it,to work harder at work and to encourage them to work hard.However,it is not enough to study the incentive mechanism and theory.It must be based on the actual situation in teacher management and then reasonably analyze and apply.This paper first elaborates on foreign teachers and their related management theories,and then uses questionnaires to understand the current situation of foreign teachers in colleges and universities.The management status of foreign teachers in colleges and universities is also researched.Based on the management status of foreign language teachers in Lang Son Province,it is found that the recruitment of foreign teachers is difficult,the training system is imperfect,the assessment mechanism is imperfect,the foreign teacher incentive mechanism is extremely lack,the relevant management system is imperfect,and the implementation is difficult.Combined with the current situation,this paper proposes a targeted management improvement program:broaden recruitment channels,improve training and evaluation system,establish and improve incentive mechanism,strengthen management team construction,promote cross-cultural communication management measures,and improve relevant management systems.It provides a reference for the research of foreign teachers’ incentive system and the formulation of relevant measures in the future.
