Studies have shown that due to the imbalance of economic,cultural and educational resources,it is difference of the mental health level between junior middle students in urban areas and junior middle students in rural areas.In recent years,positive mental health has gradually become the focus of psychological research,which complements symptom-oriented mental health.Junior middle school students are in the critical period of psychological development,positive mental health has an important influence on their academic performance,interpersonal relationship and self-growth.Family dynamics is to investigate the family atmosphere,communication style and mutual support,so it is closely related to family members' positive mental health,especially junior middle school students.Therefore,this paper compares the family dynamics and positive mental health among junior middle school students in urban and rural areas.In this study,409 junior middle school students were recruited into the present study,including 209 urban junior high school students and 200 rural junior high school students.The Self-rating Scale of Systemic Family Dynamic and the Mental Healthy Continuum-Short Form were applied to assess systemic family dynamic factors and the level of positive mental health respectively and to investigate the relationship between the family dynamics and positive mental health.Finally,we put forward targeted and practical suggestions of amily education and school positive mental education.The results show that:1.The overall level of family dynamics of urban junior middle school students is higher than that of rural junior middle school students,and there are significant differences.2.The overall level of positive mental health of urban junior middle school students is higher than the overall level of positive mental health of rural junior middle school students,and significant difference.3.There is a significant positive correlation between the family dynamic and the total score of positive mental health in junior middle school students.According to the results,we put forward the following educational suggestions:1.School should effectively carry out positive psychology education courses2.According to local conditions,school should develop regional psychological education courses3.Parents should pay attention to the family education of junior high school students...
