With the promulgation of the "General Senior High School History Curriculum Standards(2017)",the cultivation of core literacy has become a new idea and goal of high school history teaching.Effective and reasonable curriculum resource development is an important means to implement the spirit of the new curriculum standard.Given that history is created by human beings,high school students are full of enthusiasm for historical figures,the development and utilization of historical figures has become an important topic in middle school history teaching.This study attempts to study the development and utilization of historical figures resources from the following five parts:The first part gives a brief introduction to the background and significance of the historical figure resources teaching in middle school,while briefly summarizing the relevant research status,defining the concept of historical figure resources teaching,pointing out the main purpose of this study,and introducing the methods and related theories used.The second part describes the two types of historical figures resources,the dynamic and static.Then,the significance of the development and utilization of historical figures resources would be discussed,such as helping students to perceive historical phenomena,promoting the cultivation of core literacy,and stimulating students' interest in learning and positive emotions.Besides,the features of historical figures resources would be analyzed,such as large quantity with various quality,diverse forms to be integrated,a mixture of true and false,etc.In the third parts,through investigation and interview,combined with the author's own work experiences,the current status and problems of the development and utilization of historical figures in high school history teaching are going to be discussed,such as the contradiction between the high demands of students for resources and the insufficient and inappropriate display of them by the teachers.Meanwhile,the causes to such problems would be thoroughly analyzed,such as the teaching time,the examination system,the students' learning ability,the teacher's teaching philosophy,experiences,etc.The fourth part proposes some solutions to the problems.Given to the difficulty in changing the academic situation and the education system,the author tries to propose strategies for the development of historical figures resources from the perspective of teachers,such as expanding resources from history textbooks,sticking to difficult points,refining and using resources appropriately,integrating the form and content of resources according to the characteristics of students' psychological development,etc.The last part is a case study,the author attempts to use the above mentioned strategies to design the course topic“from 'Shiyi Changji' to the Reformation Law”,and to make preliminary verification of the effectiveness of these strategies,then summarize and examine the study.
