In recent years,the state and society have been increasingly concerned about the development of youth football activities.Carrying out football activities have become a top priority in campus football featured schools.With the attention rising,more and more researchers have joined in the researches on present situation of campus football in China,but most of them focus on quantitative research by extensive investigation,there is little qualitative research.Therefore,this study aims to break the traditional quantitative research and use action research method.The author took NO.3 middle school of Ganzhou,one of the typical schools of campus football as an example.The author made detailed investigation on the current situation and problems on campus football activities and provided corresponding suggestions,hoping these suggestions are helpful for applying to other campus football characteristic schools for carrying out football activities.Using the method of qualitative analysis,the author interviewed the school leaders,football coaches,students and parents of Ganzhou NO.3 Middle school,and then carried on qualitative analysis of the interview material.The results of the study are:(1)This school have a long history and sufficient venues and equipments,which can well meet the teacher's daily teaching needs.At the same time,the football school team set up early.(2)The school has the system of managing campus football organization.but there is a need of supervising football activities and perfecting the management system to ensure the orderly development of campus football.(3)The school has carried out the football class teaching,but some classes have not offered the soccer lesson because the soccer teacher is insufficient and the teacher level is uneven.(4)The school exists the problem of emphasizing training and ignoring popularization.School leaders should not only see the immediate achievements,butlong-term school football planning so that more students participate in activities and feel the charm of football activities.(5)The school has carried out the football match,but did not let all grades participate.Moreover the competition form is too single and lacks innovation.A variety of competitions and rich contents can arouse students ' enthusiasm to participate in football activities and let more students participate in the campus football activities.(6)The school has built the campus football culture,but not deep enough.Strengthening the construction of campus football culture and creating good football atmosphere to make more students and parents understand the real meaning of the campus football activities.(7)The football characteristic school lacks the propaganda and promotion of campus football,which causes some students and parents do not know the connotation and usages of campus football.
