With the vigorous development of e-sports in China,its participation,influence and attention have all reached a new height,and national sports has become a upsurge,and the state has enhanced its support for e-sports 's industrial innovation.Both in terms of economy and policy,they have given certain support and greatly promoted the overall development of e-sports.In the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games,the e-sports exhibition competition,live football,and other six major e-sports events entered the Asian Games.China's E-sports team won the top spot with two gold medals and one silver medal.The 2021 National Games will be located in Xi'an.E-sports will be presented as a new event in the National Games.Under the background of "Belt and Road Initiative" initiative,Xi'an has made great efforts to develop new ideas,new patterns and new directions to build a demonstration city of e-sports industry.Xi'an,as the most concentrated place of colleges and universities in northwest China,provides talent support for the development of e-sports industrialization.Therefore,it explores the current situation of the development of e-sports in colleges and universities in Xi'an,as well as the dilemmas faced in the development and promotion of E-sports.It is of great significance to put forward targeted suggestions for the development and promotion of e-sports in Xi'an colleges and universities.In this paper,literature,questionnaire,interview,mathematical statistics and other research methods are used to investigate,analyze and discuss the current situation of e-sports in colleges and universities in Xi'an.Through the analysis of the current situation of e-sports in Xi'an colleges and universities,the following conclusions are drawn:First,the 14 th National Games,the 2019 World Electronic Athletic Competition WCG Finals,as well as the Qujiang New area of Xi'an Qujiang New area quantum e-sports industrial construction and e-sports industrial development policy have been fully prepared for the development of Xi'an e-sports cultural city.Second,e-sports has been developed and popularized to a certain extent in colleges and universities,but in fact,it still does not appear positively in the campus culture of colleges and universities.The high participation of e-sports lays a solid mass foundation for the development of e-sports in Xi'an.Third,although the computer configuration and network conditions of Xi'an colleges and universities need to be improved,the personal equipment foundation of college students is good,and the development of mobile phone has further reduced the requirements for equipment,so that the participation of college students has beenfurther improved.Fourth,in the existing problems of e-sports community in colleges and universities,the community has no clear plan for the cultivation of new members,the organization is not strict,and the conflict with homework learning,the activities of e-sports community are less and single.Fifth,Xi'an college e-sports league matches in a variety of forms,the variety of events.The competition forms are divided into online competition and offline competition,which can effectively screen the participating teams.The types of events include: school-level events,college league matches,city competitions and so on.Sixth,at present,there are few colleges and universities related to e-sports courses in Xi'an colleges and universities,and the professionals in the research and teaching theory of e-sports are very scarce.In order to promote the development and promotion of e-sports in colleges and universities,the following suggestions are put forward: first,pay attention to the new market trend of e-sports in Xi'an;second,fine management of e-sports associations in colleges and universities;third,colleges and universities try to set up courses related to e-sports;Fourth,Xi'an e-sports talents training and social needs;Fifth,strengthen students' awareness of health network.
