Since the process of teacher professionalization has been accelerating,the connotation of teachers' quality has been deepened.Among them,teacher education scientific research literacy as an important part of the quality of teachers in the new era is the key to the development of teachers from experiented to research-oriend,and also the magic weapon to improve the quality of education and teaching.The meaning of "teacher is the researcher" is further expanded in the process of the new curriculum reform.At the same time,“teacher education scientific research” has become a hot topic,and the relevant education departments have also put forward many requirements for education research for middle and primary school teachers.However,under the background of traditional education,the first-line primary school teachers in China have not kept up with the professional development of teachers in education research,which is both an opportunity and a huge challenge for them.Therefore,it is very important and urgent to study the status of primary school teachers' education scientific research,moreover,the research based on empirical status is very valuable and practical.This paper first describes the connotation,characteristics,research content,expression forms,influencing factors and significance of teacher education research in the theoretical part,trying to explain the two aspects of educationscientific research itself and the effectiveness of education research in the study of primary school teachers' education and research.Secondly,based on the analysis of the educational research results of “Prime” and“Academic Papers” of primary school teachers in R City,Sichuan Province,this paper describes the current situation of education and research of primary school teachers in R City.It mainly analyzes the quantity,quality,research methods and contents of these two kinds of scientific research results.Based on the analysis of the status,and combining with in-depth interview with teachers from different districts and counties in R City,We main found 3 aspectsproblems:On the one hand,primary school teachers have weak scientific research consciousness and utilitarianization of scientific research purposes,they are also lack of scientific research literacy and knowledge,as well as lack of scientific research capabilities,and poor in operability;Second,the R city primary school education scientific research organization is not systematic,the scientific research purpose is unknown,and the school lacks scientific research management system,as well as the conditions for education and scientific research support.Thirdly,in terms of the generation and application of educational research results,the process of education scientific research of primary school teachers in R City is perfunctory,resulting in unsuccessful results,and research objects is empty which leads to non-practical results,as well as excellent results are insufficient promoted.These problems include the teachers' education scientific research itself and the validity of scientific research results,which directly failing to promote the professional development of teachers and improve the quality of education and teaching which is the ultimate goal of education scientific research.Finally,combining the theory of teacher education scientific research with the actual situation,we try to put forward three suggestions for improving the status of primary school teachers' education scientific research.First,as far as the primary school teachers themselves are concerned,it is necessary to get rid of the misunderstanding of "only papers" and use education scientific research as a weapon for teachers' professional growth,and they should try to experience the role of the researcher in teaching and to conduct practice operation in educational research.Second,for small schools,It is necessary to establish the concept of "strengthening the school through scientific research",and improve the evaluation of education scientific research quality,as well as strengthen the three major management of planning,organization and system,ensuring the smooth development of research,and pay attention to the transformation of achievements,as well as strengthen the promotion of outstanding achievements.About teacher training,when developing training programs of educatinal research for primary school teachers,it is necessary to conduct demand surveys firstly to solve basicproblems,and encourage primary school teachers to do in traning,form“integration of research and training”,and promote primary school teachers and the training unit to establish a research community to jointly explore primary education.
