Farmers' children account for a large proportion of the educational population in our country. The educational status of the children of the peasant households is directly related to the education level and the level of all the nationals, which ultimately affect the stock of human capital in China. In the context of building a harmonious society, practicing the scientific concept of development and building a new socialist countryside, the disadvantaged peasant households hope that the desire to change the social status of children through higher education is rather urgent.Based on the theory of human capital, the theory of educational cost sharing and the theory of portfolio investment, this study takes Hunan Vocational College of Safety and Technology as the typical research object, focusing on the analysis of the investment of higher vocational education for children. This paper makes a systematic study on the investment of higher vocational education in the aspects of the comparison of urban and rural students, the status quo of the family, the investment behavior of the higher vocational education of the peasant children, the investment expenditure and the expected return, and draws a clear conclusion: The second is the high demand for investment in higher vocational education for children and the low cost-return rate of the higher education.Thirdly, the employment of higher vocational education for the children of the peasantry is higher than that of the higher education. There is a gap in income distribution. The study shows that the factors that affect the investment willingness of the higher vocational education of the peasant children are mainly the aspects of the family and the society. At the same time, the investment in the higher vocational education of the peasant children has the following problems: first, the gap between the income of farmers and the income of urban residents;the second, the "heavy education, light skills," the traditional concept exists;the third, the lack of government investment, farmer children education costs;the Fourth, higher vocational education employment and social recognition are low;the Fifth, social stratification and education equity. In order to increase the investment of higher vocational education of farmer's children and promote the realization of education fairness to the greatest extent,we must increase the income of farmers in many ways;the second is to establish the government's leading position in higher vocational education investment;the third is to improve the financial allocation model,The fairness and efficiency of the funding;the fourth is to establish and improve the vocational education funding system;five is to improve the cost of farmers to share higher vocational education mechanism of multi-channel legal protection.
