Research On The Reengineering Of Academic Administration Process In Dongfeng School

With the rapid development of modern information technology,great changes are taking place in the teaching mode of universities.At the same time,with the gradual expansion of the scale of running universities,the workload of academic administration in universities has expanded dramatically,and its complexity and difficulty have also increased accordingly.Academic administration is the core of all kinds of management work in universities,and it is an important guarantee for teaching quality.If academic administration is still carried out according to the traditional inefficient academic administration mode and outdated management concept,many disadvantages will be increasingly prominent,and finally it will be difficult to adapt to the development of universities.The Academic Affairs Department,as an important department of academic administration,is undoubtedly facing a realistic problem----how to manage scientifically and efficiently and provide satisfactory services for teachers and students.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore and apply the scientific method of business process re-engineering to improve the management level of the educational academic affairs department of universities.Starting from the realistic background of academic administration in Chinese universities,under the guidance of business process re-engineering method,and combining with the actual situation of academic administration in universities,this paper determines the objectives,principles,methods and steps of educational administration process re-engineering in universities.Taking Dongfeng college as the research object,this paper describes the current management situation and existing problems of its academic affairs department,analyzes the reasons for the existing problems from the perspective of process,carries out optimization design relying on modern information technology,and analyzes and proposes optimizationstrategies from the aspects of organizational structure,business process,personnel and information technology.This paper believes that it is a relatively new management idea and important perspective to solve the problems in the academic administration of universities from the perspective of process.Compared with the traditional functional management mode,the process-based management mode is more scientific and efficient,and it is more conducive to the realization of humanized management.It is an effective and necessary scientific management tool.The academic affairs department should be change its management mode from function-centered to process-centered.In the era of big data and Internet of Everything,it is an inevitable trend for the management of the academic affairs department of universities to rely on information construction,break through departmental barriers,break through time and space limitations,and realize process re-engineering driven by the needs of teachers and students in universities.
