The Business Process Reengineering (BPR) refers to rethink and redesign the business process downright in order to get dramatic improvement in cost, quality, service, and speed and so on. It will reposition the business within the enterprise and cut down the repeated business process to simplify and optimize the business process so that the core business process of the enterprise can operate in the shortest time efficiently. Since the thought of BPR was put forward, a lot of enterprises have survived by BPR and gain many advantages.This paper is to analyze and research the process of educational administration and then optimize this process using the thought of BPR and with the information-based method to make it more effectively in order to provide feasible advice to improve the quality of educational administration in the university.The first chapter of this paper discusses the background of the study and the methods. The second chapter explains the theory of BPR on the relevant content and analyzes the implementation of the BPR process. Chapter III shows the problems on the existing system through the research and diagnostic analysis. The fourth chapter re-engineers the process by thinking of using the BPR ideology.
