Research On The Way Of Promoting The Self-confidence Of China's Higher Education In The New Era

General Secretary Xi Jinping clearly pointed out that "Accelerating the construction of first-class universities and disciplines as well as realizing the connotative development of higher education" in the report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China.He indicated the key tasks that higher education of China should carry out for quite a long time in the future.In the new era,the main social contradictions have changed,and the traditional extension development model has been difficult to meet the needs of the people for higher education.This reality urges higher education to explore new ways to conform to the law of education.The connotative development of higher education is an important strategic decision made by the Party in the face of the new needs of social development as well as the global pattern of higher education development.Based on the current situation of higher education development in China,the study further explores the relationship between higher education self-confidence and connotative development of higher education.Furthermore,the study finds the inconsistency between them,including ideological basis,value concept and value choice.The connotative development of higher education is an important carrier and way to improve the self-confidence of higher education.The self-confidence of higher education is the ideological basis and power source of the connotative development of higher education.They promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.It is an important way to solve the existing problems and the dissatisfaction about higher education from the perspective of connotative development of higher education in the new era.Specifically,we should grasp the scientific connotations of "nine persistence","four self-confidence" and "four services".Paying more attention to the role of the educational subjects in solving problems.The emphasis should be laid on several main aspects which including adhering to the leadership of the Party,Implementing the national higher education policy,adhering to the principle of "cultivating people by virtue",speeding up the construction of teachers and improving the level of personnel training,optimizing the structure and promoting the fairness of higher education,remolding the spirit of universities and taking the connotative development road of it.
