| After the reunification,Hong Kong fully implemented education reform.In response to the requirements of historical education reform,Hong Kong folk publishing company has launched several new high school history textbooks.The Chinese“ History in Senior High School” published by the Modern Education Research Society which is widely used in Hong Kong.The Hong Kong people have a high evaluation of it.It is an important sample to research the status quo of Hong Kong’s history education.This article has made a speciality of “ Chinese History in Senior High School”.First of all,the background of the compilation of the textbook was discussed.Under the background of “ One Country,Two Systems” and the integration of China and the West,the Hong Kong Curriculum Development Council and the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority jointly compiled the “ Chinese History Curriculum and Assessment Guidelines(Grade 9 to Grade 12)” in 2007.This document became the guiding ideology for the compilation of textbooks.It required the textbooks to be based on the national standpoint and the education concept based on student development.At the same time,The textbook hired a professional editorial team.Secondly,the content of the “ Chinese History in Senior High School” can be analyzed from the text system and the text-assisted system.The text system includes introductorytexts,basic texts,supplementary texts,historical texts and exploratory texts.The course text auxiliary system covers the premise of the lesson,the text illustrations,the text notes and the text exercises.It is not difficult to find that the textbook not only emphasizes the combination of academic materials and academic conditions,but also focuses on cultivating students’ patriotism and inquiry ability.Finally,the textbook was reviewed.The textbook has its own editing features,beautifully framed,illustrated,focusing on cultivating students’ dialectical thinking ability,and carrying out various types of learning activities to enrich the learning experience of students.But it has defect,like ignoring the contribution of women,cumbersome and embarrassing content,large amount of exercises.All in all,the compilation and selection of the “ Chinese History in Senior High School” is a reference for the relevant textbooks in mainland China. |
