Study On Improvement Of Education Service System For The Elderly In Dalian

As the aging population situation is increasingly serious,the nations of the world are seeking for effective ways to solve the large elderly population and the various economic and social problems arising from it actively,and trying to build a education framework which is suitable for improving the quality of the aging population.Many international studies and practical experience of education for the elderly show that: the development of the elderly education can not only entertain the aged,improve their quality and realize their value of life,but also is an important way to meet the challenges of aging population.However,the development of the elderly education is not achieved overnight,which requires support and services in all aspects.Therefore,study on education service system for the elderly is conducive to promoting the comprehensive,systematic and scientific development of education for the elderly,so as to realize the goal of healthy aging.Firstly,this paper introduces the definition and analyzes the constituent elements of education service system for the elderly.Secondly,on the basis of reading a lot of literature,I prepared a targeted questionnaire and interview outline,then went deep into the education institutions for the aged in Dalian and learned about the current situation of education service for the elderly in Dalian.Through investigation and interview,it is found that after three decades of development,education service level of elderly in Dalian has been improved to some extent,but there are also many problems in the service system,such as the service principal is single,the main demand of the service object cannot be satisfied,the service mechanism is not sound,the service content is not perfect and so on.The main reasons for the above problems are the lack of understanding of the significance of developing education for the elderly,the unclear top-level design,the absence of special laws and regulations and long-term development planning,the lack of guarantee of long-term resource investment,the lack of participation of social forces,and the lack of teaching research and unified teaching planning.Thirdly,based on the new public management theory,lifelong education theory,welfare theory,the advanced experience of developing education for the elderly at home and abroad and the actual situation of education service for the elderly in Dalian,the improvement scheme design of education service system for the elderly in Dalian is put forward from four aspects of service mechanism,service content,service subject and service object,and the feasibility of the scheme is analyzed.Finally,in order to ensure the effective implementation of the improvement plan,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to enhance the importance of education for the elderly,establish and perfect education management system for the elderly and increase the resource input of education for the elderly.
