| Job burnout,a kind of occupational diseases,is regarded as a kind of serious and occupational stress which has caused wide public concerns and more thorough study of modern society.However,This phenomenon that teachers’job burnout universally exists among the teachers in the secondary vocational schools will seriously influence the development of the teachers’ body and mind and so will the professional development and it also will have many bad impacts on the overall development of the students’body and mind and hinder the healthy and quick development of China’s vocational education.Therefore,it is greatly important to find out the causes of teachers’ job burnout in Secondary Vocational Schools,prevent the form of teachers’ job burnout in Secondary Vocational Schools and promote the healthy development of the secondary vocational schools.The purpose of this research is to conduct questionnaire surveys and interviews with 189 teachers from two secondary vocational schools in Wuhan X School and Xiaogan Y School in Hubei Province by means of a questionnaire survey.The SPSS software is used to obtain data from the surveyed teachers:the overall situation of job burnout,the specific situation of the surveyed teachers in the three dimensions of emotional exhaustion,depersonalization and low sense of accomplishment,the difference in demographic characteristics of the surveyed teachers’ job burnout and the difference in the level of job burnout of the surveyed teachers in the two vocational schools.Compare the statistical analysis of these four aspects to clarify the reasons for the job burnout of the teachers in these two vocational schools.The results of the survey show that 98.94%of teachers of the two Secondary Vocational Schools in Hu Bei Province all have job burnout in different degrees.Physical and mental exhaustion and lacking of accomplishment are serious and 131 teachers are out of depersonalization.Through further factor analysis,there are six main influencing factors of job burnout of secondary vocational teachers:low social recognition of secondary vocational education,students and their parents’ unsupportive learning,disharmony in interpersonal communication,heavy workload,The overall quality of teachers themselves in the two schools needs to be improved and the school management is not scientific enough.In response to this situation,three levels of intervention strategies are proposed:the first is to improve the artistic level of school management;the second is to improve the various qualities of teachers themselves;the third is to establish an effective social support system.It is hoped that these measures will help the work and life of local secondary vocational teachers and further promote the healthy and steady development of local secondary vocational education. |
