With the reform of education in China,the Central Committee of the Party and the State Council have made a series of important decisions on deepening educational reform and formulated a series of educational reform policies.Physical education,like other subjects,is an important part of school education.Physical education teachers are not only the implementers of physical education classes,but also the important guarantee of the quality of physical education classes.To be qualified and excellent physical education teachers,what professional qualities should they have? What are these professional qualities include? How can they better promote the professional growth of physical education teachers?Therefore,establishing the factors and connotation system of physical education teachers' professional qualities will play an important guiding role in improving the professional level of physical education teachers.By means of questionnaires,interviews,literature review and mathematical statistics,this paper takes 126 middle school physical education teachers from 12 middle schools in Jining District,Ulanchabu City,Inner Mongolia as the research object,and carries out mathematical statistics and analysis on 105 valid questionnaires.The research results are concluded as follows:1By sorting out the literature,the author initially establishes the factors1?By sorting out the literature,the author initially establishes the factors of physical education teachers' professional quality,and finally establishes the factors and index connotation of physical education teachers' professional quality through the ranking of experts' scores.There are 7 first-level indicators,including physical education teaching skills,physical education teachers' morality,sports skills,sports discipline knowledge,sports referee ability,sports training ability and sports scientific research ability and 24 second-level indicators.2?The basic situation of middle school physical education teachers in Jining District is the imbalance of sex ratio,and the ratio of male to female is 7:3;the teachers are mostly young,and the physical education teachers aged 31-40;the educational background is inverted U-shaped,with means the undergraduate degree is in the majority;The job title is a bell-shaped curve,which means the proportion of intermediate titles is75.2%,The proportion of the physical education teachers with no titles and senior titles is low;Physical education teachers often undertake two or more responsibilities,including grade department officers,administrators and head teachers and so on.3?The ranking of the first-level indicators of physical education teachers' professional quality in middle schools in Jining District shows a bipolar trend.One is that the total score is higher than 400 points(P.E.teaching skills > P.E.teachers' morality > P.E.skills > P.E.subject knowledge),among which P.E.teaching skills rank first,fully demonstrating that P.E.teachers' teaching ability is the key.The other is that the total score is less than 400 points(sports referee ability > sports training ability > sports scientific research ability).The above three indicators are lower than the above four indicators,indicating that they are less important to the professional quality of physical education teachers.4?The highest average of the secondary indicators of physical education teachers' professional quality in Jining District is 4.6857.Among them,special skills rank first,indicating that special skills as the most important teaching skills of physical education teachers,invest more time,and thus grasp the most solid.Means of professional theoretical knowledge,teaching design and implementation,teaching methods and means,love of education and other indicators ranked higher.The lowest mean of the secondary index is to write and revise papers.Physical education teachers in middle schools think little of scientific research and think little of it,which leads to the low level of scientific research ability in physical education.In addition,the selection and use of methods,on-the-spot skills,relevant refereeing methods and other indicators ranked relatively low.5?The overall performance of physical education teaching skills in the professional quality content of middle school physical education teachers in Jining District is good,but the teaching concept is outdated and backward.The overall performance of physical education teachers' morality is good,but some of them are slack in their work.Sports skills are good,special skills are outstanding,while other sports skills are relatively deficient.There is an unbalanced trend in the knowledge of physical education,which emphasizes theoretical knowledge rather than education and scientific and cultural knowledge.Sports referee ability is insufficient,teachers have fewer opportunities to judge and lack on-the-spot skills and skills.The general ability of sports training,the outdated training methods and the lack of pertinence lead to the difficulty in improving the training results.The consciousness of sports scientific research is weak,the teachers themselves pay less attention to it,and they lack the knowledge of sports scientific research.The following suggestions are drawn from the study1?Aiming at the basic situation of physical education teachers in Jining District,the education department pays attention to increasing the proportion of female teachers appropriately;reduces the workload of P.E.teachers appropriately and improves the salary and treatment of teachers;provides opportunities for P.E.teachers to go out for training;and divides the professional titles of P.E.teachers rationally between schools and education departments.2?In view of the content of professional quality of middle school PE teachers in Jining District,it is necessary to renew the concept of teaching skills of PE teachers,strengthen the moral education of PE teachers,improve the sports skills of PE teachers,improve the subject knowledge structure of PE teachers,improve the training of refereeing ability of PE teachers,innovate the training concept of PE teachers,and strengthen the scientific research consciousness of PE teachers.
