Mental health is a common concern in today's society.Middle school students are at puberty, which is also a critical period for personal growth. At this stage,I experienced many difficulties and problems, especially in the performance of mental health. For this reason, the study investigated 1073 students in a middle school in Guizhou by using the life stress scale, adolescent learning attitude scales and general health questionnaire, and explored the relationship between life stress, learning attitude and mental health of middle school students in rural areas,so as to provide theoretical basis for prevention and intervention of mental health of middle school students in rural areas. The results show that:(1)Boys in rural middle schools scored significantly higher than girls in learning attitude and mental health, while girls scored significantly higher than boys in life stress;(2)The mental health level of middle school students in rural areas is significantly higher than that of students in other grades. However,in rural areas, the learning attitude and life pressure of middle school students are significantly higher than that of grade one students.(3)There is no significant difference in life pressure, learning attitude and mental health between rural left-behind middle school students and non-left-behind middle school students.(4)There is a significant positive correlation between life pressure and mental health of rural middle school students,a significant positive correlation between learning attitude and mental health, and a significant positive correlation between life pressure and learning attitude.(5)Life pressure and learning attitude have significant predictive effects on the mental health of rural middle school students.(6)Rural middle school students' learning attitude has a significant mediating effect on life pressure and mental health. The research conclusion is that the life pressure and learning attitude of rural middle school students have an important impact on their mental health.
