This study will describe and analyze the workload for master of social work during their internship in summer institutions and answer the basic question that are they busy or not.This study is a qualitative study based on interview data,the interviewees were four social work master students who finished their internships in social work institutions in the summer of 2018,they are Xi Luo,Ran Ren,Chenyang and Xiaogu.This study consists of three parts,namely introduction,case description and analysis and conclusion.Case presentation in the main part,the article mainly describes and analyzes the workload of the interviewees from three perspectives: the duration of the work,the type of work and the specific arrangement of the work.According to the information provided by the four participants,the findings are as follows.During the internship,the work contents are mainly divided into two categories: practical work,anti-practical work.Among them,Practical work refers to all kinds of work related to individual cases,groups and community activities.It also includes two sub-categories,namely,the practical work independently undertaken by the interviewees,and the work done as an assistant in the projects of colleagues.The term "non-substantive work" refers to all kinds of chores arranged by the organization that the intern undertakes or participates in.The interns presented three completely different workload conditions,showing structural differences and total differences.Xi Luo's daily schedule was very full,all three types of work were involved,it was kind of overloaded;The working state of Ran Reng is still saturated,but it is the normal load condition in the saturated state;Chenyang Zhang and Xiaogu were very leisurely throughout the internship.If you look at it microscopically,The difference of workload during the internship is related to the specific actual situation of the institution,the working arrangements of the internship institute and the interaction between the institution.In the conclusion of this study,the author proposed,The workload of several interviewees is different,and the reasons for this are different.The author wants to reveal the real essence of social work industry for readers under the disguise of different workloads.
