Emotions are accompanied by the normal growth and development of young children,have an important impact on their physical and mental health,personality development and interpersonal relationships.Good emotional performance is the driving force for the healthy development of young children,on the contrary it will impedes the development of children.Therefore,it is necessary for emotional education as soon as possible.As a genre of literary works loved by young children,picture books contain a wealth of emotional education values and are effective ways to implement emotional education in young children,it can express emotional concepts to children.However,it is found through observation that kindergartens have not fully tapped the value of picture books in emotional education.Therefore,this article from five aspects of the use of picture book to carry out emotional education in children were studied.The introduction part mainly elaborates from the following aspects: the reason of the question,the related literature review,the purpose and significance of the research,the research methods and the innovation of the research.The text is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is about the relevant concepts in this article.It specifically describes the concept,characteristics of the picture book and picture book reading education,as well as the concept and characteristics of emotions,the characteristics and development of young children's emotions,and connotation and goal of young children emotional education.The second chapter starts with the unique value of the picture book on the emotional education of young children.Firstly,it expounds the feasibility of picture books in the emotional education of children,including the suitability of picture book features for children's emotional education and the emotional education in picture book and text.Secondly,the author expounds the maneuverability of the picture book in realizing the goal of emotional education in preschool according to the observation and practice in kindergarten,including help children to perceive and identify emotionsof themselves and others,understand the causes of emotions,reasonably express their emotions,and regulate their own negative emotions.The third chapter,through the interview with the teacher and the actual observation of kindergarten picture book reading teaching activities,from the teacher's understanding of the value of emotional education in picture books,the choice of picture books,the design of reading activity program and the implementation process of teacher's ability,those four aspects summed up the problems in the use of picture books to develop emotional education,and analyzed the causes of the factors from the objective factors and subjective factors of teachers.The fourth chapter,according to the problems that arise,combined with the actual situation of kindergarten teachers,put forward the use of picture book specific measures to implement emotional education.First,teachers should improve their literacy in the use of picture books for emotional education through the study of relevant theoretical knowledge.Second,teachers should select suitable picture books for emotional education of young children;then teachers must read through a large number of picture books on emotional topics to formulate a scientific and effective picture book emotional education program;and finally,to enhance the professional skills necessary for teachers to use picture books to implement emotional education activities.
