Objective: The purpose of this paper is to study the different effects of jumping exercise training and daily physical education training on the height and health of pupils, and to find out the advantages and disadvantages of jumping exercise training. Methods and means to put forward effective suggestions for the height and healthy development of primary school students to provide an effective exercise method. Methods: This paper mainly adopts the methods of documentation, mathematical statistics and teaching experiment.400 pupils of grade 2 and grade 3 in Shanghai Puming Normal School are divided into experimental group and control group. The experimental group is jumping exercise training, while the control group is daily physical education teaching. The experiment lasts 16 weeks. Results :(1)After 16 weeks of experiment, the body height in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P < 0.05),and there was no significant difference in body weight. The 20-meter round trip and step test index of body function index were significantly improved(P < 0.05),vital capacity and body mass index were significantly different(P < 0.01),grip strength and 50 meters running and standing long jump scores were significantly improved(P < 0.05).Conclusions:(1)Jumping exercise is conducive to shape the body shape of primary school students, and has a positive effect on the height of primary school students.(2)Jumping exercise can improve the physical function of pupils, especially the cardiopulmonary endurance and cardiopulmonary function of pupils.(3)Jumping training can improve the physical fitness of pupils more comprehensively than daily physical education training, especially the static upper limb strength and lower limb strength and speed.
