| With the development of the society,the progress of science and technology,New media,especially the popularity of the social media has brought certain influence to people’s life.Social media affects our social communication and enriches our social approaches.The new generation of migrant workers,as a large group in the new era,is also the main user group of social media,and the use of social media will inevitably bring some influence to their life.The popularity of social media is changing their lifestyle and understanding of city and also speeding up their involvement in urbanization,and it will be able to help them to adapt and integrate into urban life as soon as possible.At present,the new generation of migrant workers are in a golden age of love and marriage,so the traditional love concept of the new generation of migrant workers has also been affected to a certain extent.Social media encourages them to form their own love view and guide their love and marriage.The study is mainly based on quantitative research.In view of the theory of social communication and the theory of symbolic interaction,the concept of love is divided into four research dimensions: love tendency,love attitude,love way,and sex concept.In the selection of social media,the main research objects are the social media applications including(1)instant messaging APPS: QQ,WeChat,MoMo etc;(2)social platform: such as QQ space,Wechat Moment,network video etc.The research data was collected by combining the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey and in-depth case interview,and the previous literature of the quantitative research are combined with the author’s research results and case interviews.Based on the theoretical background of relevant literature at home and abroad and the data collected in the author’s investigation results,the author made in-depth interviews with eight new generation of migrant workers during the holiday,striving to conduct an authentic,objective and convincing research.The paper is divided into four parts.The first chapter mainly introduces the background,purpose,significance,related concepts and the related research at home and abroad,and also points out the key points and difficulties of this research.The second chapter mainly introduces the current situation of the new generation migrant workers about using social media.This chapter,in forms of questionnaires,carries on the investigation and analysis of basic situation and social media usage of 509 new generation migrant workers in city L of Shandong province.The third chapter makes an empirical analysis on the influence of social media on the love concept of the new generation of migrant workers through questionnaire survey and in-depth interview.The fourth chapter mainly elaborates the countermeasures and proposes suggestions on how to use social media to help the new generation of migrant workers set up the correct love concept. |
