Research On The Cultivation Of Positive Social Mentality Of The New Generation Of Migrant Workers Under The COVID-19

With the establishment and improvement of the reform and opening up and the socialist market economy,the social transformation has been deepening and the job market is becoming increasingly competitive.With the rapid development of urbanization,migrant workers as an important driving force in the urban development are also undergoing intergenerational changes.Meanwhile,the new generation of migrant workers has become the main component of migrant workers,throwing themselves into the non-agricultural fields and urban streets.Due to their great disparity in education level and the system and mechanism limitations,it is easily gives rise to the negative social mentality among the new generation of migrant workers.The rampant novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic takes a heavy toll on economic prosperity and on disturbing people's normal life and on the business survial,especially on the employment and survival of the new generation of migrant workers which,as a result,makes the negative mindset more acute.Therefore,it is of vital importance to cultivate the new generation of migrant workers' positive social mentality and improve their ideological and political education.At the same time,it should make efforts to care for the new generation of migrant workers and enhance their sense of happiness,fulfillment and achievement so as to build a harmonious society of fairness and justice.Based on the relevant literature research,this article clarifies the thoughts of the research,as well as the key,difficult and innovative points of the research,finds the effective methods of this research,and explains the relevant concepts and the theoretical basis of the research.This paper focuses on analyzing some specific situations of the social mentality of the new generation of migrant workers.The positive social mentality is mainly manifested in the following aspects.Firstly,they are more inclusive and adaptable.Secondly,they have a stronger thirst for knowledge to improve themselves.Thirdly,they have a higher expectation of a good life and are willing to work for it.Fourthly,they boast a stronger sense of rights protection and are able to use legal means to solve labor disputes.In spite of the positive consequences,the negative ones cannot be ignored as follows.Firstly,they harbor anxious,self-abased and withdrawn emotions.Secondly,their living problems are difficult and put off to be solved which generates discontent.Thirdly,they find it difficult to integrate into the city with less sense of citizenship.Fourthly,their spiritual life is not satisfied,so as to be easy to go to the extremes.Fifthly,there is a greater discrepancy between their desired wages and income and the real ones.Sixthly,they want decent jobs,unwilling to go to engage in dirty,hard,tired work,etc.All these phenomena can be best explained by the backward urban governance,unclear responsibility of ideological and political education,scanty of social and people-to-people care as well as the deficiency in guiding their wrong thoughts of material-oriented problems and other factors.The article is based on an in-depth analysis of the problems in the social mentality of the new generation of migrant workers and the reasons for the negative social mentality,this paper enumerates some proposes including accelerating the improvement of relevant institutions,protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the new generation of migrant workers,increasing the humanistic care for the new generation of migrant workers,solving their real difficulties in work and life,paying more the attention to promoting the positive social mentality of the new generation of migrant workers,creating a harmonious and friendly social atmosphere,building the ideological and political education system for the new generation of migrant workers and improving the efficiency of ideological and political education.All these steps aim to lighten the great pressure on the new generation of migrant workers bred by the novel coronavirus pneumonia,to realize urban dreams and to make contributions to combine individual dreams with the dream of invigorating our nation.
