High school biology curriculum standards emphasize the cultivation of students' correct ecological civilization consciousness and environmental consciousness.The harmonious coexistence of human and nature is the traditional ecological cultural values gradually formed in the long-term production and life of Mongolian.The effective application of traditional Mongolian ecological values as curriculum resources in biology teaching in middle schools can not only improve the teaching effect of biology class in middle schools,but also contribute to the inheritance and development of traditional Mongolian cultural knowledge.This study conducted a questionnaire survey on the understanding of the traditional ecological values of the Mongolian nationality by the Hexigten Mongolian middle school in Chifeng city,Inner Mongolia.The results show that the middle school students do not have a deep understanding of Mongolian traditional ecological values.In order to introduce the traditional ecological values of the Mongolian nationality into the biology teaching in middle schools,the author collects and sorts out the curriculum resources related to the traditional ecological values of the Mongolian nationality by means of literature research,and applies them to the biology teaching in middle schools by case teaching method.Practical teaching research shows that the application of traditional ecological values such as natural phenomena,common sense of life,family rules and traditional customs to biology teaching in middle schools can greatly improve students' interest in learning,enliven classroom teaching atmosphere and significantly improve classroom teaching effect.
