After the reform of China's higher education system,independent colleges,as a part of private institutions of higher learning,have developed rapidly.In particular,teachers and their incentive issues,which are dominated by higher education,have become the main factors restricting the development of schools and the improvement of education level.Studying and discussing teachers' incentive issues is not only the key to the healthy and long-term development of independent colleges,but also of practical significance to promoting the development of higher education in China.How to give full play to teachers' enthusiasm,initiative and innovation in work is a problem that school administrators must face and consider seriously.In this background,this thesis,by using the empirical analysis methods such as questionnaire survey,is about the present situations of Inner Mongolia M independent college teachers incentive.The relevant research has been lasted for five months,from the aspects of the salary system,welfare benefits,life security,working conditions,the inspection appraisal way,the scientific research management,training opportunities,rewards and punishment system,interpersonal relationship,evaluation of professional titles.These incentive problems related to teachers' satisfaction have been carefully analyzed and combed in this thesis.Through systematic analysis and induction,five major problems of teacher motivation in Inner Mongolia M independent college are found,which are as follows: insufficient function of macro policy incentives,imperfect internal environment of teachers' incentive mechanism,unreasonable design of teachers' salary system,the separation of teachers' incentive system and performance evaluation,low social status of teachers,and not strong sense of belonging of teachers.On the basis of the analysis of its causes,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to solve these problems mentioned above.which include on how to further implement the macro policy guidance in order to set up perfect teacher motivation system,to perfect teachers' incentive mechanism of internal environment,to improve teachers' compensation system,to establish and improve teachers' performance assessment system,to promote the social status of teachers in M independent college as well as to improve teachers' sense of belonging meant to enhance independent college teachers get the feeling and the sense of belonging and to encourage teachers to get working enthusiasm and innovative spirit.At the same time,by taking these countermeasures,school administrators can promote the long-term healthy development of the school,improve the school quality of teaching and enhance students' employment ability,better serve for the local economic development in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.Through the research on teacher motivation of M independent college in Inner Mongolia,we are aimed to summarize the feasible methods and effective measures to further improve the teacher motivation of independent college,which will be of reference significance for other independent colleges and private colleges to strengthen teacher motivation and realize healthy development.
