The academic evaluation of students who study in South Korean high school is a combination of summative evaluation and formative evaluation.Namely the midterm and final paper combined with performance assessment,in the process of teaching.Performance assessment is a method of academic evaluation that takes the whole process of students’ learning as the main content and students’ "school life record book" as the main carrier on the basis of learning evaluation concepts.Compared with the traditional academic evaluation,the content of performance assessment is extensive,Including: the students’ interest in learning,morality,emotion attitude and ability.The performance assessment has the characteristics of diverse evaluation methods,comprehensive evaluation results,and focuses on critical thinking and innovative thinking.It is conducive to the evaluation in the teaching process,giving play to students’ initiative and continuously recording students’ performance in school.Through investigation and research,summarizing the advantages of performance assessment of teaching Chinese in high schools in South Korea,that is,the diversity of evaluation subjects,the subjectivity of students,the openness of evaluation contents,the diversity of evaluation methods and the effectiveness of evaluation results.At the same time,there are some limitations in performance assessment of teaching Chinese in South Korean high school,such as strong subjectivity and high requirements for Korean Chinese teachers.According to the advantages and disadvantages of performance assessment of teaching Chinese in high schools in South Korea,this paper puts forward the improvement measures from the two aspects of students and Chinese teachers.The study on performance assessment of teaching Chinese in South Korean high school is an extension and practice of the current academic evaluation methods,and has certain enlightening significance for the academic evaluation of teaching Chinese as a second language and the academic evaluation of primary and secondary schools in China.
