With the advancement of the information wave,people begin to realize that simple classroom teaching can no longer meet the needs of learners.Blended learning,which combines the advantages of traditional teaching and online learning,can not only effectively optimize the teaching process,but also promote teaching reform.Thus it has received an extensive attention by foreign and domestic scholars.In 2016,the school online launched a smart teaching tool—Rain Classroom.In the Rain Classroom,teachers can create PPTs and insert related videos quickly and easily,can use existing MOOC resources.Teachers and students can communicate at any time during the entire teaching process.The networked online learning environment is free from the limitations of time and space and maximizes the effectiveness of teaching.In addition,teachers can obtain accurate data in the student learning process by using the Rain Classroom,which is conducive to the realization of personalized teaching.WeChat is used together with the Rain Classroom,which has become more and more widely used in the field of education because of its features such as versatility and ease of communication.This research is a blended learning mode applied on the Rain Classroom platform jointly used by PPT and WeChat.Research mainly starts from the following aspects:First,study domestic and foreign literature,elaborate research backgrounds,and analyze the research status from blended learning,the blended learning based on WeChat and WeChat public platform,and the blended learning based on Rain Classroom to determine the purpose,significance,methods and ideas of this research,to discover the basis and new ideas of the current research.Second,based on the existing research,the definition and connotation of "blended learning" and "WeChat and WeChat public platform" are analyzed and summarized.At the same time,it explores the theoretical basis of the blended learning based on the Rain Classroom and provides a theoretical basis for the construction of the blended learning mode.Third,analyze the characteristics and deficiencies of the existing blended learning mode,and build a blended learning mode based on Rain Classroom to perfect the deficiencies.First of all,this mode is a pre-analysis,and then design learning activities,implement teaching,and finally use a variety of evaluation methods toevaluate learners.Fourth,apply the blended learning mode based on Rain Classroom to the teaching of C++ language programming,the experimental class and the control class were determined through preliminary analysis and tests to verify what positive effect this mode would have on student learning compared with traditional teaching methods.Fifth,summarize the periodical research achievements of the paper,point out the reflection and shortcomings faced by the Rain Classroom application in teaching practice,and put forward corresponding measures to solve.It is hoped that the role of Rain Classroom can be played properly.At the same time,point out the deficiencies in the entire research process,and look forward to the current level of research,hoping to optimize the blended learning mode based on the Rain Classroom,and to get universal conclusions through practice.In addition,new research directions have also been proposed for reference.
