As the curriculum reforms step into the deep waters, the voice of teaching and research staffs should become the curriculum leaders in order to promote regional curriculum reform is getting higher and higher. The presentation of the leadership of the teaching and research staff is based on the realistic demands of China’s innovation in basic education, and is an effective way to promote development of curriculum at the regional level. At the same time, there is a certain practical dilemma in the development of the current teaching and research staff’s curriculum leadership. As a regional academic leader, teaching and research staff must not only ensure the teaching quality of the regional schools, but also solve the school’s curriculum problems.Through analyzing the teaching and research staff’s role, professionalism and competence, professional development and related literature of the curriculum leadership, curriculum leadership development, the thesis puts forward the research topic of the leadership development of the primary school teaching and research staff. At present, most of the thesis about curriculum leadership development focus on principals and teachers. This research based on the perspective of primary school teaching and research staff, aims to study the development of curriculum leadership and attempts to construct the curriculum leadership development model of primary school teaching and research staff. At the same time,to propose practical strategies for the curriculum leadership development of primary school teaching and research staffs.Through case study, narrative on the development of curriculum leadership of four primary school teaching and research staff from different subjects.Research on the curriculum understanding and curriculum leadership of primary school teaching and research staff and the curriculum problems encountered in practice.Firstly, the thesis expounds the background of the development of curriculum leadership of primary school teaching and research staff from the perspective of the times, inevitability and necessity, establishes the connotation of curriculum leadership of primary school teaching and research staff and the curriculum leadership development of primary school teaching and research staff, and expounds the significance of curriculum leadership development. From the two aspects of adult conversion and role theory, the thesis discusses the foundation of curriculum leadership development of primary school teaching and research staff, and proposes that primary school teaching and research staff should learn about the curriculum in experience and reflection, and promote the transformation of their roles.Based on the above two theories, the next part explains the curriculum awareness and curriculum behavior of the four primary school teaching and research staffs who have been interviewed(subject:Chinese, mathematics,English and integrated practical activities).Secondly, the curriculum awareness, curriculum thinking, curriculum knowledge and curriculum ability of four primary school teaching and research staffs are investigated from the perspective of reality through in-depth interviews of them. Here, the development of curriculum leadership of four primary school teaching and research staffs are presented in a narrative way.Through in-depth interviews to understand their attention to the curriculum, through the specific educational events or educational behaviors to reflect the overall dynamic process of the development of curriculum leadership.According to the interview data, the primary school teaching and research staffs have different degrees of understanding of the curriculum in the context of the new curriculum reform. But they don’t have a systematic understanding of the curriculum leadership, neither the curriculum awareness of the teaching and research staff nor the external conditions supporting the curriculum leadership development of the teaching and research staff are relatively absent.Again, based on the theory and the interview, there are three main stages of curriculum leadership development for primary school teaching and research staff: the formation of the leadership consciousness of the teaching and research staff — the development of the cognitive leadership of the teaching and research staff — the construction of the leadership competence of the teaching and research staff, three stages present a spiraling state. In the process, the curriculum leadership of primary school teaching and research staffs has been continuously improving and developing. At the same time, the core elements of curriculum leadership development for the primary school teaching and research staff are obtained: including curriculum comprehension, curriculum planning, curriculum development, curriculum guidance and curriculum evaluation.Based on this, the model construction of curriculum leadership development for the primary school teaching and research staff is carried out.The three-dimensional diagram is composed with time dimension, content dimension and basic dimension, and it is elaborated from four aspects of target function, architecture, concrete operation and support system. Finally, based on the previously constructed three-dimensional model of curriculum leadership development of the primary school teaching and research staff, the thesis proposes practical strategies for curriculum leadership development of the primary school teaching and research staff. In order to effectively promote the development of curriculum leadership of the primary school teaching and research staff,it must be promoted from the individual level, the group level and the regional level. The specific performance is: strengthen the individual curriculum knowledge learning;build a research community for teaching and research staff;create a regional course learning platform.
