Chinese is a discipline that belongs to the category of humanities and social sciences.It is a Chinese tool that people use to exchange ideas and feelings with each other.As a medium to regulate the use of language and characters,Chinese is actually a culture and art,and it can also rely on profound knowledge used to convey ideas,expand horizons and accumulate spiritual wealth.For students,the connotation of Chinese is mainly reading and writing,while modern text reading occupies a very important position as one of the key contents of high school Chinese teaching.How to read,students learn from year to year,teachers teach from time to time,but students' abilities are still very different.Teachers also have all kinds of puzzles and difficulties in reading teaching.This paper aims to analyze the differences and causes of high school students' reading ability in modern literature through literature review,questionnaire survey,case study,eye movement reading test and other means,explore efficient reading teaching and learning methods,and actively guide students to grasp reading skills and improve reading ability.The whole thesis consists of six parts: introduction and five chapters.The introduction mainly introduces the reason and significance,research contents,research methods and innovation of this research.The first chapter focuses on the concept of modern text reading and its ability,explaining what modern text reading and its ability composition are with the aid of Chinese teaching syllabus and Chinese teaching standards.Combining with teaching practice,this paper sorts out the differences in reading ability of high school students in modern literature,laying the foundation for later research.The second chapter mainly explores the current situation of reading and modern literature reading research at home and abroad.Through literature search,citing viewpoints and other ways,it introduces foreign practical research on changing the "reading crisis",advocating policy reform to achieve the goal of "reading promotion",and the current situation of domestic research on urban and rural students' Chinese reading ability,modern literature reading in college entrance examination and other aspects.At the same time,the current situation of reading research on eye movement meter and eye movement meter is introduced.The third chapter analyzes the current situation of senior high school students' reading ability in modern literature,and more specifically understands the differences,and grasps the problems existing in the current teachers' reading teaching and students' reading learning.The content of this chapter includes the questionnaire survey of high school students' reading ability in modern literature,the analysis of students' reading cases and the eye movement experiment of the differences in reading ability in modern literature.The fourth chapter combines the above contents to analyze the causes of the differences in reading ability of high school students in modern literature.From the two aspects of teachers' teaching and students' learning.The fifth chapter puts forward teaching strategies to improve the reading ability of high school students in modern literature.This chapter corresponds to the structure of the fourth chapter and is divided into teaching and learning from the aspects of changing teaching methods and expanding thinking methods.
