A Preliminary Study On The Educational Value Of Ancient Poems And Essays On The Subject Of Scholar's Distress In Chinese Textbooks For Middle Schools

In middle school Chinese textbooks,the proportion of ancient poems and essays on the subject of literati's predicament is relatively large.The author believes that these articles have several values: one is the value of aesthetic education.These articles are classical articles in ancient poems and essays,with distinctive stylistic features,unique artistic techniques,deep emotions of the author,which bring aesthetic experience to students;second,moral value.The ideas and spirits of these articles are worth learning by middle school students.The author summarizes four kinds of spirits: patriotism,courageous struggle,success in adversity and devotion to work for the world.These spirits are not only related to the excellent Confucian culture,but also conducive to students' moral education;and third,frustration education.The attitudes and practices of the creators of these articles are worth learning from middle school students.They are excellent examples of frustration education.The author integrates his thoughts on life,society and country into the article.Through the content and background of the article and the author's life experience,we can see their inner thoughts and final choices when facing frustration in life.Taking some ancient poems and essays on the subject of literati's predicament in middle school Chinese textbooks as examples,the author explores the educational value of such articles and makes a preliminary attempt in order to help students form good moral character,enhance their ability to resist setbacks,help students grow up healthily,and make them both moral and talented.
