With the gradual improvement and development of China's education level,the number of students enrolled in Colleges and universities shows an exponential growth.In recent years,news reports about college students' weariness and dropout emerge in endlessly,and the problem of College freshmen's learning adaptability is becoming more and more serious.The learning environment,learning methods and educational environment of universities are different from those of senior high schools.The rapid transition from senior high school to university stage makes it the most important challenge for freshmen to improve their learning adaptability.It is very important for the future life of freshmen,and has attracted the attention of educators and social workers.This research combines cognitive behavior theory and social learning support theory.Based on my practice experience in a university in Jilin Province,taking freshmen of grade 2017 as the research object,using the professional methods of school social work,i.e.case work method and group work method,this study intervenes in freshmen with poor learning adaptability,and evaluates the description of intervention process and the effect of intervention.Summary.The survey found that,firstly,the freshmen's learning adaptability is generally not high,and they lack awareness of how to improve their learning adaptability;secondly,the parents of freshmen generally no longer pay attention to the students' learning status after enrollment,and the freshmen lack effective family constraints;thirdly,the pertinence of school entrance education is weak,and it is difficult for freshmen to find corresponding teachers' guidance on learning problems,so that freshmen can improve their learning ability.It is difficult to meet the individual needs of learning adaptability.In view of the plight of College Freshmen in improving their learning adaptability,this study adopts the work method of school social work intervention to effectively improve their learning adaptability.
