With the deepening of the new curriculum reform concept,the history teaching of junior high school students has gradually been concerned by more and more scholars and experts at home and abroad.Among them,the cultivation of junior high school students' historical thinking ability is the core content of history teaching activities.Academia has been looking for an effective system of historical thinking cultivation.Teachers attach importance to the cultivation of students' historical thinking ability in the classroom,which can help students rely on historical knowledge,treat historical problems scientifically,objectively and dialectically,analyze historical events and evaluate historical figures.On the basis of previous research results,this paper summarizes the research results of the cultivation of historical thinking ability at home and abroad,expounds the theoretical concept of historical thinking ability,the characteristics of junior high school students' historical thinking ability,the importance of cultivating junior high school students' historical thinking ability and related requirements.Through the sample survey of the junior middle school students in Guiyang No.1 Experimental Middle School,the present situation of junior middle school students' historical thinking ability is understood by means of questionnaires.At the same time,some history teachers in the front line of history teaching in the school were interviewed and talked,and the problems in the cultivation of historical thinking ability in middle school history teaching were comprehensively analyzed.In addition,combined with my own teaching experience and the textbooks of the historical edition currently used in the junior middle school in Guiyang City,this paper elaborates the relevant strategies of cultivating students' historical thinking ability in the junior middle school history teaching by using the textbooks as the grasp and the relevant cases in the classroom.
