Thailand is one of the best countries in Chinese teaching developing.Therefore,to analyze and study Chinese teaching in Thailand contributes to the development of Chinese teaching in Thailand and it can also be of some reference significance to other countries and areas.In teaching Chinese as a foreign language,analyzing learners' demands for teachers' quality is conductive to guiding teachers to improve teaching quality so that it can be more efficient and targeted.According to foreign language demands analysis theory,researches on Chinese teachers' due quality and Standards for International Chinese Teachers,this paper refers to the teaching situation in the teaching areas and formulates investigation methods and questionnaire in combination with domestic scholars' achievements of learners' demand analysis.This investigation chooses three schools in Phetchabun,which are in the lead at Chinese teaching and comprehensive teaching;then,questionnaires were handed out to Chinese learners from Junior Grade 3 to Senior Grade 3;also,SPSS was adopted for statistical analysis of the questionnaire.According to the results,this paper analyzes the generality and differences of learners' demands for teachers' teaching,individuality,and accomplishments from three perspectives,which are different genders,different grades,whether having taken HSK exam and whether from Chinese major class.The conclusions are including four parts:first,the priority task for Chinese teacher is to maintain students' studying interest;second,Chinese teacher and Hanban should pay more attention to teachers' individual quality and accomplishment quality;third,efficient learners should be cultivated in the class;forth,teacher's intercultural communication ablity should be improved.In this way,Chinese teaching in Phetchabun and most areas in Thailand can be improved and it can provide reference to the selection of Confucius Institute and the improvement of Chinese teachers' quality.
