Team Work Of The Intervention Research In The Migrant Children Of Their Emotional Management Ability Improvement

With the deepening of reform and opening up and the accelerating process of urbanization,the flow of labor in our country has become more frequent.But the majority of migrant population are the young and the middle-aged between the age of 18 and 45,and their children are in the phase of schooling.This shift of migrant form has created a special urban group,namely the migrant children.According to the data from the Sixth National Census,there were about 261.39 million people in China in 2010,and about 13 million migrant children follow their parents to the cities.Learning adaptability is the most immediate problem faced by migrant children,and emotional management is a key ability that affects individuals to adapt to environmental requirements and pressures.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct an in-depth study of the migrant children's emotional management ability and to intervene in the urban migrant children through group work.The migrant children should be provided with emotional management training and education in practice to maintain their physical and mental health."Making your dreams come true" is a social work-study program for migrant children.It is targeted for migrant children in the migrant children's schools in Gu Su District,Suzhou.In the process of participating in the project,the author is devoted to exploring the research on the group's working methods in emotional management abilities of migrant children which contains emotional cognition,emotional expression and emotional catharsis.By using the methods of literature,observation,interview and questionnaire,the author will investigate the status quo of migrant children's emotional management problems,which are guided by the theory of personality development stage and the theory of emotional ABC.In view of the actual situation of Li Xin Primary School,the author will use the professional methods of group work,take the perspective of psychological support and ability enhancement as the starting point,and set up group special courses for children with emotional management problems,help them understand emotions correctly,accept their negative emotions and learn to express their emotions in a sensible way to improve their emotional management skills.By using group work methods to intervene in the emotional management of migrant children,the migrant children can further enhance their ability of emotional cognition,emotional control and emotional expression when playing games and interacting with each other.The evaluation found that after experiencing 13 emotional management group activities,the scores of the emotion management of these team members in the measurement scale increased significantly,and the methods of emotional management were also accepted by the team members.However,the involvement of group work in improving the ability of emotional management of migrant children ignores the uniqueness of team members.The author makes some suggestions on the existing problems from the professional perspective of social work.Finally,the author hopes this article can provide reference for the future research on the emotional management of migrant children.
