With the constant deepening of higher education reform in China,the teacher training mechanism in colleges and universities has some new changes.It mainly manifests in three aspects:to adopt more flexible training method,more reasonable training scheme and more scientific training performance evaluation mechanism.As an important part of higher education in China,private higher learning institutions are also faced with the unprecedented opportunities.However,due to the short running time,many private higher learning institutions are confronted with severe survival pressure.Its main performance is that the level of teaching staff construction lags behind the institutions' development speed.In order to meet the demands of daily teaching,a large number of young teachers go onstage to teach in private higher learning institutions.The doubt that how to make these young teachers adapt to the classroom teaching in colleges and universities better has become an urgent problem to be solved in the human resources department of many private higher learning institutions.SY College is one of seven universities in Hainan province.At the same time,it is also a private higher learning institution with the largest school scale in Hainan.In terms of the training of young teachers,SY College mainly includes two parts:one is pre-job training of college teachers in Hainan,namely,college teacher qualification training,which is organized by Teacher Training Center in Hainan;The other one is the pre-job training of new faculty in SY College,which is held by Personnel Office of SY College and assisted by Faculty Development Center,Academic Affairs Office,Academic Research Office as well as School League Committee.The training mode provides necessary human resources support for the early teaching of SY College.However,like other private higher learning institutions,after completing the development of "quantity",SY College aims to improve the construction of school connotation,which makes the college obtain sustainable competitiveness and development ability.In order to achieve this goal,the college carries out a series of reforms of education teaching and management modes.The current teacher training mode cannot meet the college's development strategies.Therefore,it needs to be optimized and improved urgently.Based on the relevant theories of teacher training,taking SY College as an example,the optimization design of teacher training system in private higher learning institutions and other issues are studied in the paper.The research background,significance,domestic and foreign research status of teacher training in private higher learning institutions,research routes as well as methods are elaborated in the body of the paper.Secondly,the related concepts and theoretical basis are narrated,including private higher learning institution,teachers in private higher learning institutions,teacher training system in college and universities,theory of learning organization,lifelong educational training theory,training demand analysis theory,training evaluation theory,etc.Thirdly,the current situation of teacher training in SY College is analyzed in empirical analysis.Besides,the main problems of teacher training in SY College are summarized through questionnaire survey and interview.Fourthly,combined with relevant theories,the teacher training system in SY College is optimized from four perspectives of training demand analysis,training plan formulation,training plan implementation and training evaluation feedback.Finally,some suggestions are put forward on the safeguard measures of teacher training system in SY College from the point of organizational guarantee,system guarantee and teacher guarantee.
