In the context of the new normal of Chinese economy,sports industry has drawn high attention of the government for its low resource consumption,high added value,wide scope of influence and strong employability.The document,“Opinions on Speeding Up the Development of Sports Industry and Promoting Sports Consumption”,was issued by the State Council in 2014.It explicitly states that the government will actively expand the supply of sports products and services,promoting sports industry as an important force for economic transformation and upgrading.Internet-oriented enterprises,such as Alisports,LeSports and Sohusports,have merged sports events into a new industrial ecological circle involving event operation,event copyright,sports media,business development,ticket business and the like.With the rapid transformation of sports industry,business of sports enterprises become complicated.Sports labor market has raised higher requirements for employability of sports economics and management undergraduate talents.Under the background of mass higher education,colleges and universities should take the initiative to meet enterprises' s needs.They should provide a more suitable educational model for sports economics and management students according to social division of labor,so as to let students' personal characteristics and specialties stand out in the future career.Based on the perspective of enterprises' s demand,this paper discussed the characteristics and tendency of enterprises' s demand for sports economics and management undergraduate talents.Then,the paper selected the employment capacity model,using content analysis method to analyze the 386 posts in 243 enterprises.The results are as follows,For overall demand,enterprises attach great importance to management abilities.While the demand for sports related abilities which are the major's characteristics,is relatively small.It reflects the homogenization tendency of talents cultivating in sports economics and management major.In addition,the demand for sports skills is concentrated and the required level is relatively low.Most of them are concentrated in mainstream sports and stay at liking or understanding level.Except for major's professional abilities,enterprises are also highly concerned about communication skill and teamwork skill.Besides,more than one third of the posts value one's passion for work and sense of responsibility.The requirements of computer application ability and foreign language application ability show that enterprises pay more attention to practical application abilities.English,as an international language,is still the most important foreign language to enterprises.The high demand also includes stress-handling capability,innovationand entrepreneurship,and professional dedication spirit.However,learning ability,problem-solving ability,down-to-earth spirit,honesty and hardships spirit in the overall demand have not been highlighted.For posts in different levels,the demand for management talents is stronger.More than 80%of the posts require related work experience before entry.One to two years of work experience in entry-level posts is the most popular,and three to five years in management posts.Both are value major's professional abilities,communication skill,teamwork skill,passion for work,sense of responsibility,stress-handling capability.Management posts propose higher request to comprehensive qualities involving communication skill,teamwork skill,management skill,innovation and entrepreneurship,strong enterprising spirit than entry-level posts which are more concerned about practical abilities and work attitude.For posts in different natures,the largest demands are sales talents,planning talents and operation talents.On the contrary,the demand for public relations talents,supply chain talents and research talents is the least.All the posts value planning ability,marketing,market research and analysis ability,and management ability.While the demand of generic skills and individual personality have statistical significant difference.Managerial posts and planning posts have higher demand for innovation and entrepreneurial.Assistant posts,product management posts,planning and operation posts need foreign language application ability which the public relations posts have the greatest demand for.Individual personality of strong enterprising spirit,honesty,down-to-earth spirit have statistical significant difference.Sense of responsibility,passion for work and stress-handling capacity are the most important quality in all posts.Based on the above results,this paper puts forward the following suggestions for the training of undergraduate talents in sports economics and management major.First,embody the concept of cultivating individualized talents.Second,pay more attention to sports skills training;Third,build a personalized talents training module.Forth,design the individualized second class.Fifth,scientifically design practical training,combining "necessary ability" with "excellent ability " in talents training.
