In the era of knowledge-based economy,the society develops rapidly.The more abundant the culture we have access to,the greater efforts we should made to grasp the cultural essence of our nation.Ancient poems carry the memory of our nation and contain the code of our national spirits.They are an important spiritual treasure of our nation.Being handed down generation by generation,they have unconsciously influenced the ideological and behavioral ways of Chinese people for thousands of years.At present,China advocates socialist core values.The education circle proposes to train students' core qualities.Only when nutrients be absorbed from it can better implementation effect be obtained.The junior high school stage is an important stage for students to cultivate personality.The ancient poems studied in junior high school and connotations acquired from these ancient poems will exert significant influences over students in their lifetime.In order to enhance the value of ancient poems and train students' core qualities,we must improve the effectiveness of ancient poem teaching.This paper,based on the research object of ancient poem teaching in Chinese class of junior high school,analyzes the teaching status quo and its causes,combines “Chinese Curriculum Standards of Compulsory Education” and learning requirements for the senior high school entrance exam,concludes key points of ancient poem learning,and puts forward a “pyramid”model for effective teaching of ancient poems.The “pyramid” teaching model is designed to enhance class teaching efficiency and train students' core quality in Chinese.This paper mainly covers the following contents: chapter 1 explains the increasing manifestation of ancient poems' importance and extensive emphasis on ancient poems at present through data searching and literature analysis;meanwhile,it sorts out the status quo of studies on ancient poem teaching and the research direction,and obtains the latest progress in existing studies.Chapter 2 briefly illustrates key words and relevant concepts in this paper and points out the impact of constructivism on this paper.Chapter 3 takes ninth-graders and teachers of Xiamen Wuyuan Experimental School for example and reaches conclusions about the status quo of ancient poem teaching in junior high school through the questionnaire survey and field interview,etc.Chapter 4 builds a “pyramid” teaching model in order to solve problems existing in current ancient poem teaching.Besides,it introduces characteristics of the model and how to apply it.Based on the examples of the Tang poem Spring View,the Song poem Prelude to Water Melody:How Long Will the Full Moon Appear and the Yuan verse Sheep on the Slope: Thinking of the Past on My Way to Tong Pass,it conducts a case analysis,verifies effectiveness of the model and proposes suggestions on improvement.
