Tennis is a combination of aerobic exercise and anaerobic exercise.Through a long period of tennis training,female college students'vital capacity and aerobic metabolism ability have been significantly enhanced,heart function has been effectively improved,promote each blood output,and ultimately improve their cardiopulmonary function.Long-term tennis has a significant effect on improving the physical fitness of female college students,such as strength,flexibility,agility,endurance,and is conducive to improving the physical health of female college students.In order to systematically study the influence of tennis on the physical health of female college students,this paper takes the freshmen tennis option of Jianghai Vocational and Technical College as the research object,and conducts a comparative physical health test before and after 16-week tennis course.This paper aims to explore the impact of tennis on College Students'physical health,in order to provide a theoretical basis and practical guidance for college tennis optional courses.The results showed that:(1)Body shape:the impact on height is not obvious,weight decreased significantly,thigh,arm and abdominal sebum thickness decreased.(2)Physical function:vital capacity and step test index increased significantly(3)Physical fitness:sitting forward bending,sit-ups,standing long jump,50-meter fast running and 800-meter endurance running ability improved significantly.(4)After 16 weeks of tennis training,female freshmen have improved their body shape,physical function and physical fitness index,which has certain effect on improving the physical health of female college students.(5)After 16 weeks of tennis training,female freshmen were compared with the average of all the indexes of Female Freshmen in China,including body shape index(body weight,abdominal sebum thickness),physical function index(vital capacity,step test index),physical fitness index(sit-up,1 minute sit-up,standing long jump).The results of the test were mostly better than the national average of students of the same age.
