Since the Reform and Opening in 1978,China has a huge development with the disintegration of planned economy system,the weakening of boundary between urban-rural area and the accelerating process of urbanization.At the meanwhile,there are increasing number of children entering into the cities for education as their parents finding jobs.As a result,the "migrant children" was born in the context of a special era.Migrant children have been facing many problems in integrating into urban life,especially those related to their future study problems,which have become the focus of the whole society.This article carries on the corresponding practical research to study difficulties in migrant children,aiming to explore the social work intervention paths.On the basis of systematic combing of the research on the study difficulties of migrant children at home and abroad and the social work approaches,taking the behavioral learning theory as the perspective,while using the qualitative research(observation and interview methods)mainly and quantitative research as the auxiliary,this paper selects the W community to collect the basic information,finding that the reasons for study difficulties include insufficient learning motivation,improper learning methods,poor learning habits and so on.Social workers chose behavior-therapy-based group to serve 24 members with study difficulties,setting the targets for they can independently finish the individual study plan,complete the homework within the time stipulated by the teachers,promote the learning attention and know how to use efficient learning methods.To have a better demonstration,the intervention group(12)and the control group(12)were set up.Evaluating the results by baseline measurement,compared with the study achievements of the members before and after the intervention,it was found that the intervening group had a great improvement in its study performance compared with the control group,and it can be said that the intervention has played a certain effect.Finally,after summing up the effect of behavior therapy group intervention,this paper reflects on the shortcomings of social work involved in the studydifficulties in migrant children,and improves the professional and effective work practice.
