In recent years,Maker Education has sprung up like bamboo after rain.Music education for middle and elementary students is elementary music education for the entire middle and elementary students according to “Compulsory Education Music Course Standard(2011)”,which is one of the significant ways to implement aesthetic education.The essay will discuss how to introduce Maker mode to music education,hoping to change the traditional modes and ways of music education through designing a personalized instrumental production course.Students can make use of common items in daily life to make the instrument they like,which will motivate students enthusiasm towards music and offer them an opportunity of feeling and creating music.The essay starts with theory to discuss how to design the personalize instrumental production course under the Maker Concept,and then further to generalize the educational methods that can be popularized based on several cases.The first thing we should take into consideration is selection and integration of teaching contents,and the second one is to cultivate the innovation ability which is most important aspect in Maker Education.Thus,how to encourage and inspire students to have brainstorm within 40 mins becomes one of the key requirements in course design.Thirdly,make sure we can feel free to offer students more space to think and make,and meanwhile we should understand that the ultimate aim of Maker Education is not competition or ranking,but to digest the knowledge through cooperation among students.Next,the essay has done the course design which not only need to fully motivate students creation and imagination,but also to have subjects interaction,making students to really experience the mixture and the joy of Maker Education and music.It is inevitable that there are deficiencies during the process of this round of personalized musical instrument teaching experiments.However,it has achieved some certain results,playing a reference and guiding role in terms of some issues occurred in Maker Education.The study offers a totally new horizon for Maker Education promotion and development,providing a real case for mentioned theory.Furthermore,in this case,we choose Chinese,Math and English subjects as research objects,and also combine music into them,carrying out a new teaching method for Lianhua Middle School in Futian District.
