The “National Training Program” is a national-level training program for primary and secondary school teachers.It originated in 2010 and its purpose is to promote the training of all primary and secondary school teachers throughout the country,with a focus on supporting rural teacher training in the central and western regions.As a strategic policy with great strategic significance,the “National Training Program” has played a significant role in promoting the overall quality of primary and secondary school teachers,especially the rural primary and secondary school teachers,and the healthy development of basic education.Due to the large scale,long time,large number of training institutions,wide coverage,and complicated links in the “National Training Program” for rural primary and secondary schools,some problems have arisen in the implementation process in recent years,which is objectively It is required to increase the research on the training needs of rural primary and secondary schools in the “National Training Program”,and provide relevant evidence for relevant decision-making departments,so as to improve the follow-up training and promote the training to meet the actual needs of rural primary and secondary school teachers.By combing the theory and clarifying the concept,this study builds the training framework for the training needs of rural primary and secondary schools from the five aspects of training objectives,training content,training methods,training forms and training management,and establishes the content system of training needs..Based on this,the author designed the relevant questionnaires,and conducted a questionnaire survey and interview survey with the rural primary and secondary school teachers in L County of Changde City as samples.Understand the current state of the training needs of rural primary and secondary school teachers in the “National Training Program”: some of the teachers in the training purpose have obvious utilitarian awareness or “trained”;the training content is more practical and applicable knowledge and skills.The training method is more inclined to the method of interaction,communication and autonomy;the form of training favors the more intuitive form of on-site guidance and leading demonstration;the teacher of training management prefers the frontline teachers with rich teaching experience,time Most choose winter and summer vacations,and the location is more inclined to receive training in schools and the county.At the same time,problems were found and analyzed,including: the purpose of rural teachers participating in training is unknown and lack of motivation;the training content is monotonous,lack of practicality and pertinence;the training method is single and not flexible;the training form lacks “people-friendly awareness” and interaction;Training management lacks post-training guidance tracking and motivation.The countermeasures to meet the training needs of rural primary and secondary school teachers in the “National Training Program” were proposed: one is to clarify the purpose of training;the second is to enrich the training content;the third is to update the training method;the fourth is to expand the training form;the fifth is to strengthen the training management.
