In recent years,ordinary high school physical education curriculum has implemented special teaching.Students choose freely to choose sports programs and teaching levels through interest-oriented and sports-based orientation.The aim is to improve traditional sports teaching thoughts focusing on basic knowledge and skills transfer,and to cultivate students' interest and interests.A new teaching concept that is aimed at lifelong sports awareness.The special teaching needs for the diversification of sports programs and the advantages of tennis itself have enabled more and more ordinary high schools to incorporate tennis programs into physical education courses.However,due to factors such as imperfect hardware facilities,shortage of professional tennis teachers,and restrictions on traditional teaching methods,students' enthusiasm and interest in learning has gradually subsided,and many ordinary high school tennis courses have not achieved the expected results.Therefore,how to improve students' teaching skills and maintain and improve students' interest in learning by improving teaching methods under limited hardware facilities has important research significance and application value.This paper analyzes and summarizes the concept,basic theory and teaching methods of the Tennis Play and Stay teaching method.Based on the existing research and teaching procedures at home and abroad,the experimental research on the application of the Tennis Play and Stay teaching method in ordinary high schools is carried out.A total of 80 students from the first grade tennis class of Nankai Middle School in Shapingba District of Chongqing Municipality were randomly selected for teaching experiments and questionnaire surveys.Arbitrarily select one class to use the traditional tennis teaching method for teaching,the class as a control group;the other class uses the Tennis Play and Stay teaching method to teach,the class as an experimental group.In order to avoid the teaching experiment being interfered by other factors,the students in the two classes were tested and investigated on the level of tennis ball sense,sports interest and physical quality before the teaching experiment.The test was analyzed by SPSS22.0 software.These students did not differ significantly in the various test indicators.After the teaching experiment,the two classes were surveyed and the tennis ball level and tennis skills were tested.Finally,the SPSS22.0 software is used to analyze and analyze the data before and after the experiment,and the following results and conclusions are obtained:(1)Through the analysis of the test data after the experiment,it is concluded that the students in the experimental group scored higher than the control group in the technical scores of the backhand shot technique and the start-up technique,and the difference was significant.(2)Through the analysis of the test data after the experiment,it is concluded that the students in the experimental group are better than the control group in the number of servings,but the difference is not significant;while the students in the experimental group are excellent in the number of hits and the number of hits.In the control group,and the difference was significant.(3)Through the comparison of test data before and after the experiment,the difference of tennis ball sensation between the experimental group and the control group before the experiment was not significant.The experimental group and the control group had improved tennis ball sensation after the teaching experiment,but After the experiment,the experimental group and the control group had significant differences in the level of tennis ball sensation,and the experimental group was superior to the control group.(4)The Tennis Play and Stay teaching method is conducive to improving students' interest in learning,enhancing students' pleasant learning experience,and is more conducive to stimulating students' ability to explore and learn independently.(5)The Tennis Play and Stay teaching method is in line with the psychological characteristics of high school students and can motivate students to participate in classroom learning.(6)In the improvement stage of learning tennis technology,the traditional tennis teaching method and the Tennis Play and Stay teaching method can be flexibly applied to tennis teaching,which is conducive to improving the standardization of students' technical movements.
