With the continuous development of the society,the society has higher and higher requirements for talent training standards in colleges and universities.The party and the country attach great importance to the cultivation of talents in colleges and universities,and have successively issued relevant policies to set clear requirements for the education system of universities.Cultivating graduates with comprehensive qualities is the most pressing task in universities.The second classroom is an important channel for universities to implement comprehensive quality education.The second classroom and the first classroom complement each other and cooperate with each other,creating a good opportunity for students to participate in social practices and exercise their abilities,which has become the focus work of major universities.Jiangxi province has made a series of achievements in education reform in recent years,and comprehensive quality education in colleges and universities is one of the priorities.Although the ministry of education and the local government have given instructions and regulations on comprehensive quality education in universities.However,at present,some colleges and universities have not achieved satisfactory results in comprehensive quality education,and there are shortcomings in content,form,and effect.Among them,the situation of undergraduate colleges is more obvious.From the perspective of investment in educational resources and the quality of students,undergraduates cannot compare with key colleges.From the perspective of career orientation and ability training,undergraduates cannot compare with higher vocational colleges.However,the number and coverage of undergraduates generally exceed those of key colleges and vocational schools in the training of talents.Exploring the more effective comprehensive quality education mechanism of general undergraduate colleges has also become an urgent issue in educational research.This paper takes general undergraduate colleges in Jiangxi province as the research object,selects three schools in Nanchang to conduct a survey,comprehensively understands the situation of comprehensive quality education in the second classroom,finds out the existing problems and analyses current policy guidance,the school conditions and students' actual situation,and explores the optimization strategies for comprehensive quality education in the second classroom of general undergraduate colleges,which provides a reference for the completion of the goal of comprehensive quality education in universities.
