As China enters a new stage of development,industrial upgrading and economic restructuring are accelerating,and new requirements are being put forward for skilled personnel.In the National Vocational Education Reform Implementation Plan issued by the State Council,it is clearly put forward that the teaching process should be connected with the production process to improve the quality of education and teaching in an all-round way,which brings new opportunities and challenges to teachers.As the core course of computer application specialty in secondary vocational and technical schools,Common Tools Software is an essential skill for students to get jobs in the future.The traditional teaching methods can't satisfied the current requirements of enterprises for talents in innovation and teamwork.In view of this phenomenon,the action-oriented teaching method is applied to the curriculum reform in combination with the single teaching method,the mechanical control of the classroom by teachers and the low interest of students in learning in secondary vocational schools.Two classes of computer application specialty are selected for the experiment by using the comparative experimental method.In the process of solving problems,the characteristics of students and classes in secondary vocational schools are studied with the method of literature research.The current situation of action-oriented teaching method and "Common Tools Software" course is studied with the same method.At the same time,the learning and teaching status of experimental schools is investigated with the method of questionnaire.We have not only conducted the research on the teaching design of action-oriented teaching method,but also designed the classics teaching cases of the type chapter.The teaching practice research lasted one semester,a second questionnaire survey was conducted among students at the end of the semester.Through comparative analysis,it was found that the action-oriented teaching method improved student's interest in learning and class participation,improved student's ability of cooperative communication and multi-channel access to information,as well as their ability of selflearning,and improved student's understanding and memory of knowledge and skills.
