With the release and implementation of the national innovation-driven development strategy, great attention and attention has been paid to cultivating the innovative spirit and innovative ability of primary and secondary school students.Robot education is one of the effective ways to cultivate students' innovative spirit and ability. It is of great theoretical value and practical significance to carry out robot education in elementary and middle schools.Affected by foreign STEAM education concepts, domestic robot education has developed rapidly, but there are still problems such as lack of teacher resources, lack of related curriculum resources, and inconsistencies in the importance and popularity of various places, especially the lack of related curriculum resources. At present, the development of robot education in primary and secondary schools is hindered and its popularity is low.Aiming at the above problems, this research designed and developed a set of robot education courses suitable for junior high school under the background of STEAM education, and carried out teaching practice, analyzed the teaching effects, and gave suggestions for improvement.First of all,the author clarified the significance of this research question and research development.Through literature research, the concepts and connotations of STEAM education and robot education,as well as the development and integration of the two at home and abroad were explained. The course development has laid a good theoretical foundation.Secondly,in the context of STEAM education, the author designed and developed a set of junior high school robot education courses.Curriculum development is based on relevant teaching theories, combined with specific research practices, and referenced to the third level of the National Youth Robot Examination Standard, and the rules, requirements, and models of the national mainstream primary and secondary robot competitions(this research takes the FLL Robot Engineering Challenge as an example). The developed junior high school robot education curriculum includes two parts: recommended teaching equipment and syllabus.Next, the author has implemented the junior high school robot education course developed in a local junior high school, and selected the core chapters of the course "Robot Chassis Design and Construction" and "Line Inspection Robot" as teaching cases to analyze. The STEAM education concept, learner and academic situation analysis, teaching difficulties and details that need to be implemented in detail are described in detail. Then, the author analyzes the results of teaching practice.Through the results of student evaluation and assessment, student questionnaires, and teacher interviews, the teaching effect of this course is analyzed from multiple aspects such as objective and subjective, teachers and students. The results show that this set of junior middle school robot education courses under the background of STEAM education has achieved good teaching results and has certain application value.Based on feedback from teacher interviews,it gives suggestions for improving the problems in the courses. Finally, the full text is summarized. This set of junior high school robot education courses under the background of STEAM education can to some extent solve the problem of lack of relevant curriculum resources encountered in the current development process of junior high school robot education, and also has certain reference value for the subsequent development of more related courses.
