As an important indicator of China's implementation of "Made in China 2025" and the development of "Industry 4.0",robotics is an indispensable key technology for the global industrial process.It develops at a rapid rate of 20% every year.At present,the development of robotics education in primary and secondary schools in China is not optimistic,and most of them are based on competition teaching and interest-based teaching.There are few students in the audience.Under the influence of STEAM's educational philosophy,small and medium robotics education has achieved rapid development and various types of robot competitions have been carried out in succession.However,the lack of curriculum resources for primary and secondary school robotics education is still one of the important reasons that hinder the development of robotics education in primary and secondary schools.This study uses the National Juvenile Robotics Grade Examination as a carrier to integrate STEAM education with robotics education to develop a set of robotics education courses suitable for primary school students and conduct teaching practice.This article starts with the actual development of small and medium-sized robotic education,researches the status of machine education and STEAM education at home and abroad,and determines the research content.The robot,robot education,and STEAM education concepts were outlined.The National Juvenile Robotics Robotics Technical Grade Examination project was introduced.The theoretical foundation of curriculum development based on constructivism was established,and education,science,STEAM education,and maker education were taken as Course development principles.Then,based on the STEAM education,the development of elementary school robotics curriculum was analyzed.The composition of the curriculum,curriculum syllabus and learning objects were analyzed.The curriculum objectives,course content,class schedule and evaluation system were designed.Then,in the Chongqing ET Juvenile Robot Training School,the curriculum practice teaching was conducted.The chapter “Who is the most stable” was selected as a case study.The end of practical teaching,through the questionnaire,examination results,teacher interviews,and scale evaluation analysis,shows that the primary school robot education course based on STEAM education has a good educational use value.Finally,the paper summarizes the full text.The primary school robot education course based on STEAM education provides primary school students with a complete robot education course,which has a certain role in promoting the development of robot education.
